This week starts with 3 planets in Earth signs and 4 planets in Fire signs. This combination is sure to make you feel like you are being bulldozed since Fire and Earth don’t cooperate well. The Moon in Gemini sets the tone for the week and this helps to mediate the discord. Gemini is airy and intelligent and bounces from one issue to the next without emotional entanglement.

The conjunction of the Sun and Mercury in Capricorn creates a subjective view of what is happening in the immediate environment. Serious considerations need to be made with reference to professional matters. This is a good time to analyze the possibilities for change and to break with entrenched habits that have been delaying success.

Your fantasy is a good vehicle for travel in the coming year. Take a chance and put long thought out ideas into play. Higher influences are there to provide you with assistance that may seem almost unattainable from a practical point of view. Allow yourself the freedom to throw the dice.

Time to get serious with the Sun in Capricorn and the Moon in Aquarius directs our attention toward the future.  It sounds like the beginning of a good chess game.  The coming week starts out with some upheaval that began at the end of last week.  

It seems that there are some misconceptions about the motivations of people with whom you transacted business.  The rumor mill sent people reeling when their illusions became delusions.  This created an expectation that for many reasons didn’t manifest.

Mercury is conjunct Pluto, the demoted planet of late.  Don’t think that the gravity of this situation is less complex than originally stated.  Someone will need to do some explaining if a business commitment isn’t honored. Do the right thing and your actions will speak for you.

Saturn sends a trine to Mercury conjunct Pluto so this will equalize the pressure that has building due to poor communication.  This aspect creates a golden opportunity to correct any misunderstandings that have been bubbling under the surface. Solve this problem empirically.        

Relief is in sight. Problems that have dogged you for weeks are finally abating. Slowly, thanks to the Mercury, Mars, Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius resolutions are in the making. Also, Saturn trine Pluto is creating a platform from which to work in the coming year.

Uranus square Mercury causes a stand off with any detractors that haven’t put their irritations to rest. This interference will allow you extra time to smooth out your plans and win the admiration of even your most ferocious enemy. Still, keep a sock in it until you have everything firmed up.

Venus is in the sign Capricorn which keeps any romantic situations at a distance. Also, when Venus is in Capricorn people tend to hide behind their voice. Keep an eye out for this pretentious behavior and put it into a perspective that serves you best.

Meanwhile, don’t over do during the holiday season. This week makes it especially easy to overindulge. Keep your health at the forefront of your actions or you may have to suffer the consequences. Take this week to remind yourself of all the good things you have to feel thankful for.

Beginning Sunday, the Sun is sextile the planet Neptune. The sextile aspect is ruled by Venus so there is a strong inclination toward fantasy and illusion.  The Sun is connected with realization, so the reality may not always live up to the illusion.  This is the underpinning of the week that is now developing.  Ideally, the Sun and Neptune cooperate to produce creative problem solving.  

This week is a bit like a volcano just coming back to life after a long inactive period.   Three planets (Mercury, Mars & Jupiter) are in the fiery sign of Sagittarius.  This tends to open all the spigots.  Be careful that you don’t speak without thinking.  Fortunately, Mars tends to speed up all of our perceptions so it should be possible to keep tempers from flaring and problems from taking on significant importance.

Venus is conjunct Pluto and this creates a volatile explosion of emotions.  Keep your composure, as this aspect is very short lived. Venus moves into Capricorn and this will cool down any event that has been escalating.  Also, at work is Saturn, Moon conjunction trine the Venus, Pluto conjunction. This allows for containment of the situation going forward.  Basically, the game changes.

Another important development is that Saturn has just gone retrograde.  This will last for approximately 4 months.  So expect that any advancement of career plans will be put on the back burner.  Other options include, but are not limited to, revisiting a previous employment or business opportunity.

The Sun, Venus, Jupiter & Pluto are all in the sign Sagittarius.  This is the sign of plenty.  So expect plenty of everything during the coming week.  Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, therefore it dominates this stellium of four planets.  This means that the sky is the limit, feel free to indulge yourself in all the excesses you desire. You know “buy now, pay later”.  You may actually get by with this as this combination of planets is very fortunate.

Mercury in Scorpio throws a healthy amount of suspicion into the mix.  Mercury is getting the square aspect from Saturn which usually indicates that you are in conflict with your environment and your timing might not be so good.  Don’t take action until you can obtain an objective overview.  This will eliminate any embarrassing situation that might crop up.

The Sun is in square to the planet Uranus so expect the unexpected.  Prepare yourself for any situation that arises with quick thinking. Whether the arrows of cupid or the sword of Damocles is headed your way, you won’t be caught off guard.
