The Sun has just entered the sign of Cancer and this let’s us become more aware of our immediate surroundings. The little things that we face each and everyday that create our sense of security may be shifting. We need to re-examine these familiar things to make sure that we are comfortable and satisfied with the persona that we are projecting. Granted, the persona is the image that we project and it is the way that others see us, but we may need to make some adjustments so that we feel strongly connected to this image.

The Moon just passed the sextile with Saturn so we feel mildly sedated in terms of our unconscious desires. Possibly there is a disconnection between the conscious and unconscious that needs to be addressed. This disconnection surfaces in the conscious where we may make the necessary changes. This will allow us to go forward in a more decisive way.

Venus approaches a conjunction to Saturn which will make us more cautious about our intentions and suspicious of the intentions of others. Trust comes from knowing yourself, and if you know yourself, you will know the others. Also, if you know the others, you will know yourself. We all have the same possibilities for making the right judgments but sometimes we fool ourselves. Neptune is in exact opposition to Saturn, so we are not always aware of our blind spots.

This week begins with an underlying feeling of anxiety. Nothing seems to be easy. You feel as if you can’t trust your own instincts. Actually, the Moon is in Cancer today and will continue to play a part in developing a sense of security. The Moon is in domicile in the sign of Cancer meaning that the instincts are generally reliable. Obviously, there are many considerations that influence our actions but instincts are definitely one of them.

The Sun is approaching an opposition to Pluto so this can give a sense of anxiety as we are faced with the fact that time has to be integrated. We can not move too slowly or too quickly or it can set things into motion prematurely. Timing is one of the most important factors. Time and space solve all problems.

Saturn is sextile to Neptune and this will add imagination to our thoughts and actions. This creative aspect can reform even the most inflexible and frustrated individuals. It offers a chance to look at things from another perspective. Try putting your feet into the shoes of another. This will help you realize the needs and expectations of friends and foes.

Expect some high handed behavior coming from your friends and associates in the week ahead. The sextile between the Sun and Mars and the conjunction between Moon and Mars seems to give carte blanche to saying whatever comes into their minds. A little editing would be suggested so as not to be considered a real horse’s ass. This advice, however, may not come in time for the masses. Or should I say the sheep. There is a saying “People will consider you a wise person, so why open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

All joking aside, this week should be full of new opportunities to get the ball rolling in a new direction. Stop procrastinating and do what has to be done. Spring is the season of new beginnings. Aries, Taurus & Gemini represent the spring signs in the zodiac. These signs are considered to be youthful. This vibrant time of the year is a good time to lay the foundation for projects that you plan to develop in the future.

Still air and fire signs dominate the week. That means that vital information is still coming in and you should withhold making any decisions at this time. Wait for more input and this will lead to a better outcome. Be considerate of other people’s feelings as they may not be as informed as you are.

This week begins with a feeling of being bottled up. The moon in Capricorn doesn’t share suffering with others, at least not openly. But suffering can have purpose too and Capricorn shows us just how a little self control can make for a very good result. It may seem uncomfortable to sit quietly with your problems but holding back in some situations is what is called for.

Meanwhile, the other planets are in challenging aspects, with lots of squares and oppositions. Things may seem chaotic and it seems that there are a lot of people claiming the grapes are sour just like in Aesop’s fairytale “The Fox and the Grapes”. Why other people’s sour grapes attitude has to affect you is the real question. Ignore the temptation to spell it out for them…they’ll come to it in their own time.

Don’t neglect the things that are really important to you. Focus on your own success and forget about telling the other guy about a better way of doing it. You can only live one life and that is your own. Jupiter retrograde is in trine to Saturn & Mars, so something that belongs to you will be returned. Be gracious.

What truly belongs to you, no one can take away. And what you obtain in the right way will be a source of happiness and will be maintained.
