The Fundamental Things Apply

The moon exalted in Taurus sets the tone for the coming week. It makes getting away from firmly held beliefs next to impossible. Once they have an idea in mind, there is just no way for Taurus the bull to come around to any other vantage point. They take a position and stick to it. This is all well and good because eventually they will come to the truth. Like the patient who had a toothache and goes to the dentist. The dentist asked his patient “Which tooth is it that hurts?” The patient replies “Are you the dentist or am I the dentist?” So the dentist reached in and pulled out a tooth. The patient complained, “you pulled the wrong tooth” and the dentist replied “don’t worry, we’ll come to it.”

Mars is trine to Mercury and sextile to Saturn so although there may be some deeply subdued feelings of hostility, they are kept under a lid through the interference of Saturn. This is advantageous because as the saying goes “loose lips sink ships”. Better to keep quiet and people will think you are a wise person. Why open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Jupiter in Sagittarius is in square aspect to Uranus. This leads to a teetering back and forth between the conventional and unconventional. Also, this indicates a struggle between excess and limitation. Give yourself a vacation and let others enjoy their own approach to life. No one needs a truth serum.

The Wheels of Justice Grind Slowly

Sun in Libra and Moon in Aquarius start the week with the advantage of clear communication. The conscious and the unconscious are in harmony. This is a good time to clear away the psychological cobwebs that have been hanging around for a while.
Mercury is in Libra, in honor of Triplicity, is a great position for this planet. Air signs like Libra, Aquarius and Gemini love to communicate. The Moon will form a trine aspect to Neptune in Aquarius, so you can assume that others are able to sense what you have in mind.

Saturn is not aspecting any planet this week so you might find it much harder to focus on projects that need your attention. You’ll have to apply yourself in order to meet any impending deadlines. Mercury the planet of communication and intelligence forms a trine to Jupiter and this will give you a broader reach by expanding your circle of influence. Beware the sextile between Mercury and Pluto which could derail your plans before you have made the necessary inroads to your objectives.

All in all, this will be a fine week for casual conversation and pleasant exchange with the human race as a whole. The fiery planet Mars is in the sign of Gemini and cooperates nicely with Mercury in Libra. This should give you an added boost of energy to carry out plans without creating too much fatigue that stems from the basic grind of life.

Necessity is the Mother of Invention

This week starts out with an exact square between Sun in Virgo and Mars in Gemini. This may be great for sporting events but lousy for matters where patience is necessary. There is a lot of tension driving the will and with the Moon in Scorpio this indicates that unforeseen forces are afoot. The Moon in a general way represents the masses and in Scorpio you expect that people are at the disposal of their instincts. This can create dangerous situations. The Moon is also in a trine aspect to Uranus and this may indicate some surprising news.

The Moon is square Venus so don’t expect people to be polite. If they have a point to make it will be direct and possibly not too diplomatic. However unpleasant the week turns out to be, people will be intent on removing the smoke screens and getting down to the essential truths of their existence.

The Moon will be squaring Neptune so even though a breakthrough seems possible, we are still mired in inconsistencies of values. If you know what you want it will be a lot easier for others to recognize your needs. Straighten out your own thinking before you start giving advice to others. As you can see with so many aspects to the Moon, the unconscious is very powerful and often more important than the conscious in dictating future events.

There is Nothing New Under the Sun

This week starts out behind the proverbial “8 ball”. With the Sun in Virgo opposing Uranus in Pisces there are powerful forces at work. Many of these forces are difficult if not impossible to direct. Uranus always brings unexpected circumstances and does not submit to the will. The best would be to take extra time planning your actions so that they will not create unbearable tension.

Moon in Leo keeps us centered in our thoughts. We make ourselves the center and everything revolves around us. Venus has just gone direct so we start to feel our emotions begin to emerge after a period of sublimation. Be considerate of others feelings as they may feel overly sensitive at this time.

Be patient as the opportunity to move ahead is forthcoming. Timing is a critical factor in obtaining your goals. Patience is the only virtue. Work conscientiously to maintain your balance during trying times. It seems that you will eventually get the cooperation of others if you don’t alienate them by impetuous behavior. People feel much more secure when they think they know what you will do next.

Nothing Lasts Forever

This week seems a little like an approaching tornado. Things are spinning around and around and this leads to a very unsettled feeling. However, your razor sharp mind should keep things from spiraling completely out of control. The Moon in Taurus sets the tone for a bullish week. But which end of the bull are you at? Beware of the bull’s weaponry, those horns can be dangerous. The Moon is exalted in Taurus so tenacity is basically a good trait.

Actions come easily and dictate the road to be traveled. There seems to be the desire to hang on to what is comfortable. Let go of situations that no longer serve your purpose. It will soon be much simpler to organize your thoughts and efforts. Still it seems that complicated circumstances surround us. It is very difficult to separate yourself from your environment.

Expand your horizons by taking on new responsibilities that will benefit you and others as well. It will prepare you for the more difficult tasks ahead. Your resistance only serves to strengthen the turbulent feelings within. Integrate time and space and any problems that you are having will solve themselves.
