With Sun in Taurus you just want to retain some of your creature comforts, nothing big or splashy. However, current astrological influences seem to vaporize these little things that keep you sane. It’s been a kind roller coaster ride lately, however, don’t despair as the ride is about to be over. You have undoubtedly gained a great deal from this experience even if you found it unsettling. When difficult circumstances emerge, it prepares you for the future. You will be better able to deal with these trying situations more effectively. Maybe this doesn’t seem like such a benefit, but it is.

Try to approach problem solving in some new and creative ways. Don’t react to a situation in the same careless manner. Think carefully about it and try to incorporate some fresh ideas that will bring new life into your way of dealing with things. Making small changes can result in big changes in your life and career. Be flexible and give others the benefit of the doubt.

The Sun is about to enter the sign of Taurus and the Moon is in the sign of Aquarius. This establishes an atmosphere or sociability and turns our attention to practical matters especially those connected with money. When you have money, you have many friends but when you lose your money you often lose your friends. That is why it is not a good idea to lend money to friends. When they can’t pay you back…well, you never see them again. It is best to leave money lending to the banks.

These are very emotional times and the general population seems to be undergoing a kind of evolution. Suddenly we are no longer living in an affluent time and this requires that we cut back on our activities that require a lot of resources. This may at first be uncomfortable but give it a little time and you’ll get used to it. Spending money is not really an activity. There are all sorts of activities that don’t cost anything. Use your imagination.

This time in history requires a mature approach to life. This isn’t a time for feeling sorry for yourself or being angry because everything hasn’t worked out in exactly the way that you had hoped. Instead apply your talents to reinventing yourself and discover the new you. This is a great opportunity to add some juice to your life. It’s easy to become bored and discontented. Push yourself in a new direction.

This week brings plenty of punch. The Sun is in Aries and the Moon is in Scorpio, both are ruled by the planet Mars. This makes both emotional and physical energies wild and is a real double whammy. It’s best to avoid any direct confrontation as it is bound to be explosive. I understand, however, that it is not always possible to control these feelings of high tension and that in some cases it is better to release them into the atmosphere. Naturally, there is a price to be paid. But we pay for what we want and we pay for what we don’t want…that’s life.

Mercury in Taurus doesn’t let hard feelings disappear easily. This sign is very tenacious and doesn’t give up grudges easily, at least not until it has the opportunity to gore you with it’s horns as Taurus is represented by the bull. Only then can it let go. Mars is in the sign of Pisces and here we have compassionate chaos. One minute you feel sympathetic and the next you feel the need to manipulate a situation to your own advantage. Pisces always has a hidden agenda. They are known for compassion but hidden deeply is a need that they can’t acknowledge. This week will be some relief after the past of week of riveting and anxiety producing experiences. The Sun in Aries is conjunct Mercury in Aries which cautions you not to speak without thinking. With so much enthusiasm you could overwhelm others with your exuberance. You might let a secret slip out and this could tank some very important plans. Not that you are deliberately trying to deceive anyone but that is how it might be interpreted. Stay vigilant as some opportunity may develop in the next couple of weeks. You wouldn’t want to miss it.

Mars and Uranus will oppose Saturn and this could indicate some unexpected event that might require your attention. This may seem inconvenient but you will have to devote yourself to it for a short period of time. The week begins with the Moon in Leo so during the week you will want to take some personal time and focus on yourself. This is important even if you have to squeeze it in between other demanding tasks.

Pluto squares Venus so there is some undercurrent that is trying to push its way into your conscious. It could be some hidden desire or some secret that you have not revealed even to yourself. Try to relax and allow this very important revelation to surface as this could set your psychology off in a whole new direction. Evolution is when the conscious realizes the unconscious or in astrological terms, the Sun realizes the Moon.
