This week starts out with lights flickering, electrical devices malfunctioning, computer connection conflicts and who knows what else. What is responsible for these glitches are anybody’s guess. But judging from the planets this week it is going to be a high wire act for most of us. Perhaps Mars trine Uranus is the culprit. Uranus is retrograde in Pisces while Mars is about to go retrograde in Cancer. Then within a week Uranus goes direct. It seems that this crisscrossing effect may be the source.

The Moon which is the back drop for the week begins this week in Sagittarius. Sagittarius doesn’t have particularly good instincts and is impetuous. This could be a deadly combination politically so watch what you say. Don’t make any rash judgments about the motives of others as you could be seriously mistaken.

Jupiter and Pluto are in an approaching conjunction. This should bring some benefit to you in whatever area of your natal chart the sign Sagittarius falls. Perhaps some unknown source of income or money you left behind finds its way back to you. Saturn in Virgo reminds us to be resourceful in our daily expenditures. Low overhead can be the key to financial success.

This week begins with 4 planets in the sign of Virgo. Virgo is a feminine, mutable, earth sign. Sun and Moon in Virgo show the versatility and hard work that go into accomplishment. Saturn in Virgo puts emphasis on the day to day efforts that eventually lead to success while Venus in Virgo gives lightness to the effort. All things start with just one step.

Uranus in Pisces opposes the Sun and Moon in Virgo so expectations may be met with better than anticipated results. This shows that moving in a direction can be beneficial even when we don’t know exactly what we are aiming for. Things come to us just through taking action. Virgo is a reactive sign and this shows that stimulus pushes us in a direction. Virgo is mutable, therefore pendulum like. It swings back and forth toward a goal.

Jupiter and Pluto are in the sign Sagittarius and this give dimension to philosophical beliefs. The love of wisdom is pronounced at this time. Mercury trine Neptune adds to the images generated by the unconscious. Use these images to broaden you understanding of higher influences.

The Sun in Scorpio lends itself to secrecy and the knowing of things unknown. This sign has the uncanny ability to sense your inner most secrets. Scorpio is great at keeping other people’s private life to themselves. They won’t advertise your personal information but they may use it to their advantage and that is what gives Scorpio such a controversial reputation. The Moon in Gemini makes for lively conversation and intellectual sparring. This is something that Scorpios find tedious and unpleasant.

In the coming weeks the planets are in the fall and winter signs. This is a time for serious contemplation of your most intimate thoughts and feelings. Venus in Virgo is square to Jupiter in Sagittarius. This represents the greater fortune competing with the lesser fortune or the big self in conflict with the little self. The little self represents the personality and our desires and the big self our connection with higher influences.
Don’t neglect either one. They can both be satisfied.

Mars trine Uranus relieves a lot of built up pressure that has been increasing over the past weeks. Little by little you can blow off steam thereby warding off any big explosion of temper. The Sun trine Mars reminds us that our status often depends on our ability to control the devil within. Our ego dictates that we indulge activities that deliver us to our goals. Unexpected good results come from following our dreams. Don’t be too willing to compromise as what you want is within your reach. Make sure you have the right dream.

While it is true that patience is the only virtue…waiting for Godot isn’t. Now would be a good time to check not only the relevance of your thinking but also the reality of it. Theory may be brilliant until it is put to the test of practical application and time. There does seem to be a window of opportunity for receiving hidden insights into the motives of others and ourselves. Take this moment to recount the best way of improving your own psychology. Leave reforming others to the professionals.

The conscious and the unconscious are in harmony so now you can be on the same page with yourself. Know yourself and you will know the others. Know the others and you will know yourself. Perhaps the times bring about a kind of Machiavellian behavior in humanity. Use inexperience as a tool to teach yourself the lessons of life. This reminds me of a parable in which the King asks for a shave. The barber hears the request “that if one drop of blood is spilled, the barber will get his head cut off.” So the barber sends his assistant and the assistant decides to send his assistant until the least experienced one had to give the King a shave.” The most inexperienced barber shaves the King and does a perfect job. The King inquired,”you heard my message, how is it that you are brave enough to give me a shave?” The young barber replied, “the knife is in my hand”.

Basically, we find people feeling gregarious but still keeping their real feelings to themselves. This would be due to the sextile between Mercury and Saturn. Don’t expect to see any revelations in thinking any time soon. Fear is a very difficult emotion to drive out.

The week begins under a veil of secrecy thanks to the Moon in Scorpio. Scorpio is always investigating the underlying cause and purpose of behavior. There are many causes for an effect and many effects from a cause. It’s a bit like throwing a stone in the water. You can see the ripples of water spreading out from the source. The Sun in Libra increases the need to communicate in a civilized and sociable manner. This masks any underlying agendas that exist within the unconscious.

Emotions are strong during the week, so try and moderate your reaction. Don’t over react to stimulus that may be waiting to undermine your more constructive plans. Saturn conjunct Venus in Virgo gives an elegant and intelligent aspect to your daily life. Focus on the immediate task at hand and this will be relaxing. The mind is very restless at this time and staying focused is a way to mitigate extreme anxiety.

The Sun in Libra trine Neptune in Aquarius is partially responsible for your imagination working overtime. Dramas can become exacerbated by drawing unfounded conclusions. Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio and will remain retrograde until November 2nd. Use this time to review your plans and make changes that will benefit future developments.

The week begins with the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Virgo. So although you would like to express yourself verbally this doesn’t happen easily. The Moon in Virgo is sextile Mercury in Scorpio and this just adds to the frustration as it is impossible to explain what gives us inner peace. Perhaps it is the ability to “belong to yourself” that gives the feeling of being connected to higher influences.

Venus leaves the sign of Leo and enters the sign of Virgo so our sense of beauty starts to take on a practical aspect. Often you find commercial artists with Venus in Virgo. Uranus in Pisces in exactly square Jupiter in Sagittarius so you can expect more inner tension with regard to the conventional versus the unconventional. Just choose one and pursue it because it is very difficult to keep switching back and forth.

Saturn is conjunct the Moon so again we find a kind of suppression of our inner most feelings. We can’t expose ourselves completely because the fear of rejection is compelling. Remember that a long journey begins with just one step…don’t be afraid to take just one step.

Sun in Libra and Moon in Aquarius start the week with the advantage of clear communication. The conscious and the unconscious are in harmony. This is a good time to clear away the psychological cobwebs that have been hanging around for a while.
Mercury is in Libra, in honor of Triplicity, is a great position for this planet. Air signs like Libra, Aquarius and Gemini love to communicate. The Moon will form a trine aspect to Neptune in Aquarius, so you can assume that others are able to sense what you have in mind.

Saturn is not aspecting any planet this week so you might find it much harder to focus on projects that need your attention. You’ll have to apply yourself in order to meet any impending deadlines. Mercury the planet of communication and intelligence forms a trine to Jupiter and this will give you a broader reach by expanding your circle of influence. Beware the sextile between Mercury and Pluto which could derail your plans before you have made the necessary inroads to your objectives.

All in all, this will be a fine week for casual conversation and pleasant exchange with the human race as a whole. The fiery planet Mars is in the sign of Gemini and cooperates nicely with Mercury in Libra. This should give you an added boost of energy to carry out plans without creating too much fatigue that stems from the basic grind of life.

This week starts out with an exact square between Sun in Virgo and Mars in Gemini. This may be great for sporting events but lousy for matters where patience is necessary. There is a lot of tension driving the will and with the Moon in Scorpio this indicates that unforeseen forces are afoot. The Moon in a general way represents the masses and in Scorpio you expect that people are at the disposal of their instincts. This can create dangerous situations. The Moon is also in a trine aspect to Uranus and this may indicate some surprising news.

The Moon is square Venus so don’t expect people to be polite. If they have a point to make it will be direct and possibly not too diplomatic. However unpleasant the week turns out to be, people will be intent on removing the smoke screens and getting down to the essential truths of their existence.

The Moon will be squaring Neptune so even though a breakthrough seems possible, we are still mired in inconsistencies of values. If you know what you want it will be a lot easier for others to recognize your needs. Straighten out your own thinking before you start giving advice to others. As you can see with so many aspects to the Moon, the unconscious is very powerful and often more important than the conscious in dictating future events.

This week starts out behind the proverbial “8 ball”. With the Sun in Virgo opposing Uranus in Pisces there are powerful forces at work. Many of these forces are difficult if not impossible to direct. Uranus always brings unexpected circumstances and does not submit to the will. The best would be to take extra time planning your actions so that they will not create unbearable tension.

Moon in Leo keeps us centered in our thoughts. We make ourselves the center and everything revolves around us. Venus has just gone direct so we start to feel our emotions begin to emerge after a period of sublimation. Be considerate of others feelings as they may feel overly sensitive at this time.

Be patient as the opportunity to move ahead is forthcoming. Timing is a critical factor in obtaining your goals. Patience is the only virtue. Work conscientiously to maintain your balance during trying times. It seems that you will eventually get the cooperation of others if you don’t alienate them by impetuous behavior. People feel much more secure when they think they know what you will do next.
