Do try hard to pull yourself out of that state of self flagellation. This really doesn’t serve your purpose. You have one friend and one enemy and that is you. It’s easy to reproach yourself about “should of”, “could of” and “if only” but it won’t help you move ahead to a happier and freer state of mind. Accept yourself completely and move on.

The week promises more surprises on the public scene. Keep your eyes open for opportunities that may suddenly appear. Spontaneity is well prepared. No one will be interested in your list of excuses. Say “yes” to offers that are appealing. Old friends emerge during the next month so try to be congenial even if your schedule seems rather tight and inflexible.

You will feel strong and energetic physically, but be careful as you may be more fragile than you think. Don’t oversubscribe to social events and make sure that you arrange some personal time for relaxation. Many people are very tense and could become antagonistic if they feel that you are not hearing them. Even if you are hearing them you don’t have to reinforce their anxieties. Steer clear of them until they develop a calmer and more confident attitude.

The Sun just moved into the sign of Cancer so hang on as this is going to be an electrifying and highly charged week. The Moon in Aquarius trine Mercury in Gemini does give some needed perspective to the all or nothing attitude that will prevail. Mars opposing Neptune shows a strong resistance to organization and methodology. Just about anything goes. People just want to serve their own purpose. This is not always possible as there are very real consequences for not following the laws of nature.

When the unexpected occurs, there seems to be great surprise but things will not go away just because you ignore them. A real effort to deal with problems is required. We want to deal because the Moon trine Mercury shows a need for the unconscious to come to the surface. When it does surface, we can make the appropriate changes and this will put our psychology onto a more directed path.

Efforts to expand start to take shape. What seemed impossible for years may now show promise of fulfillment. Of course, we have to do the work but this will be well worth the time. Mars trine Pluto (Pluto is now retrograde and has moved back into Sagittarius for the next several months) gives us the added power drive that we need to get to the finish line. This will get us ready for the next new beginning.

Worry dominates the coming week as there is still a disconnection in communication. With 3 planets in Gemini we continue to experience a conflict in direction. Also, adding to the confusion is Mercury retrograde. All these factors combined add to our confusion and insecurity. Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn wants us to concentrate on the big picture but we can’t help drifting off into the past. Future expansion will come with the advancement of planetary positions in the next couple of weeks.

Saturn in Virgo helps direct our energies into practical and workable goals. This is just the influence we need given the current unsettling planetary configurations. We are reversing our need for illusory comforts and focusing on the present moment. Being in the moment provides security and reinforces our self.

Watch out for controlling and power seeking individuals in the coming couple of weeks. They cannot resist the temptation of taking over almost every situation. It probably isn’t worth a fight so continue with your own business as usual. Somehow the lack of attention moves these troublesome types on to other endeavors.

With 3 planets in the sign of Gemini, it’s going to be hard to get a handle on how this week will go. Gemini is famous for setting others off in two opposing directions. This week reinforces the idea that there are two different games in play and it will be important to keep your eye on your own ball. Gemini is a human sign so they will know how to make the best play especially when it comes to business. They can read your intellect. This will make a lot of people very nervous and it will lead to a week of unexpected surprises.

The Moon in Leo conjunct Mars in Leo gives the impression that this is a very high stakes maneuver. Look for people to spring unanticipated obstacles into your otherwise predictable working conditions. Is it a game? Be aware that there are some pretty aggressive people who won’t mind elbowing you out of the way if they have the chance.

We react to being pressured by moving ourselves out of a high profile position and into the background where it is less clear what our intentions are. A little subterfuge is always a good idea and a legitimate way of taking ourselves out of the target zone. Basically, no one will be able to dig up much and any bad feelings will disappear in the very near future. Stick to your guns.

The Sun, Venus and Mercury in Gemini bring about a pensive and nervous week ahead. It’s as if we are awaiting the other shoe to drop. This is just an overlay of anxiety that is permeating the air at this moment. Mercury is trine to Neptune so the fantasy aspect of our thinking is being stimulated. Try using some magical thinking to get yourself through this difficult and trying week. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt.

The Moon will be in square aspect to Mars so this adds to the nervous feeling of being perhaps isolated or not in touch with the powers that be. You’ll have to rely on your instincts or connection to higher knowledge to get you through the land mines that lay ahead. I don’t mean to alarm you, as this is a good exercise in judgment and concentration. Move ahead cautiously.

This is a week when you will need to get down in the trenches. This is not an enviable job as it taxes our whole system. Keep your energy steady and focused and this will result in a victory. You feel as if some options are slipping away when in fact a new tide of opportunities is arriving. Good fortune follows the courageous one.
