Beneath the Surface

“Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose”…you may remember these lyrics from Me & Bobby McGee, a song written by Kris Kristofferson. The planetary influences seem to be in harmony with these sentiments. Suddenly we are faced with making serious choices which may otherwise be impossible to make. But given the circumstances surrounding these decisions it becomes easy to make choices.

We have a few planets in the sign of Gemini. Gemini is theoretical. If you ask them for directions they will point in two opposite directions. In a way, this is a very metaphysical answer. We achieve harmony by going toward the material and by going toward the spiritual. We learn to balance our nature through this process of going back and forth between these two poles.

Venus in Cancer is exactly sextile Saturn in Virgo. We feel like we must take life seriously. What we don’t know can hurt us. We have to become more aware. By bringing the unconscious into the conscious we protect ourselves from the unknown. It is the Sun that must realize the Moon. The Sun represents the conscious while the Moon represents the unconscious.

Naturally, the unconscious is hard to access. Our experiences bring this hidden matter to the forefront where we can deal with it in a conscious way. Jupiter and Uranus are conjunct in Aries and they will work together to bring you new and unexpected insights into your own deeper self. These insights will help you to advance on many levels.
