We often forget that our future to some degree is in our own hands. We have free will. We have less than we think we do, but more than we will ever use. Basically, we have one friend and one enemy and that is ourselves. We often place blame on others when we fail to get the results that we want. We have to look in the mirror. What is reflected back has a lot to do with who we are and not so much who the other players are.
Granted, life isn’t fair. But it is up to us to put ourselves in the proper perspective. It isn’t always easy. We are blind to our own short comings. It is good to take a hard look at yourself and see what is really there. Not only what is there, but also what is missing.
Values are the things that differentiate us from others. They are what give us our uniqueness. Without being clear about what these are, you present of cloudy image of who you are. Take the time to give clarity to your thoughts and actions.
