There may be some small disappointment that has caused you to rethink your performance. You are not too disturbed by it however, as you never have all of your eggs in one basket. You have a smart strategy that allows you a lot of flexibility. Disappointments come and go. It just causes you to reexamine your plan and make some necessary adjustments.

Don’t aim for perfection. Perfection only exists in the un-manifested. Focus your energy on practical application. This is the highest use of your efforts. It is easy to beat yourself over the head when you don’t get things exactly right. Forge ahead and keep your confidence high.

You find that your energy level is used in clearing up past projects that are incomplete.
This is an ideal time to review anything that has been in limbo. Either complete it or drop it. This is a good way to reinforce your decision making skills. You don’t need a lot of unfinished plans floating around in your head. It detracts from your focus.

You feel much more secure and sure footed than you have in a very long time. It will only get better in the months to come.

You think you are ready to implement your plan but unfortunately there are a few details that require your attention. You are feeling slightly weary this week due to the onslaught of activities you have found yourself at the center of. You are resistant to any encroachment on your time and space. This is a temporary set back that will pass quickly and you will be your energetic self once again.

It seems that things are changing around you and you may or may not be conscious of this. You have some internal indications of change but so far no bells and whistles are going off. You suspect that someone is trying to highjack your ideas and make a run with them, however, you have nothing to fear. No one can run with your ideas as they always have to back them up with something substantial. This is never possible for long, then your ideas come from something deep within and can’t be replicated by someone who doesn’t see or feel things the same way as you do.

Show more self confidence. You have what it takes to get the job done. Don’t be discouraged by little interferences. This is a good time to reinforce your commitment to plans that you are in the process of accomplishing. Stick to your goals. Everything else will fall into place.

You may be feeling a bit “let down” recently. You think back to the days when making a decision wasn’t filled with trepidation. You may be remembering yourself as a much more courageous person. It’s important to maintain your sharp judgment and insight. But it’s also important to retain your spontaneity. Spontaneity is well prepared.

With the Sun now in Aquarius, we can begin to look forward to newly reorganized goals. We are always editing our goals. But we need to be careful not to dilute them entirely. We need to have that youthful expectation of succeeding. Of course, experience has shown us what is realistic and what is not. However, maybe we should always be passionate about what we want. We can keep trying no matter how many times we fail.

If you are too focused on avoiding pitfalls, you almost always back into one. You have free will. It is just a matter of using it. Now is a good time to determine if you are flying upside down or right side up. This is often only possible by examining your values. How do they harmonize with life in 2012? Are they flexible or rigid and have they had success in the past in terms of delivering the kind of results that you desire? Values should incorporate ethics. Ethics are a matter between you and your God. There should be a lot of common ground between your ethics and the ethics of others but ultimately it is personal.

You have to answer for your own thoughts and actions. What other people think of you is none of your business. You must belong to yourself and have the courage and integrity to be you. It is likely that if you follow this course, no one will openly challenge you, although, they may not agree with you. You have to believe in yourself.

This could be the beginning of a very productive and upbeat year. There are many things for all of us to learn in this New Year. It is an opportunity to know more about ourselves. By knowing about ourselves, we will come to know more about others. Change begins with you. Don’t wait for someone else to make the first move. Take action! When I speak about you, I am also speaking about me.

This year offers a true change in perspective. An evolution of social institutions will be brought about by necessity. Necessity is the mother of invention. Change will happen whether we like it or not. The best way to cope is to be flexible and to expand our understanding of changing circumstances. We need to use foresight…not too much and not too little. Moderation is the key. Too much foresight causes anxiety and too little creates anxiety too.

Resistance is a natural response to the unknown. It is in our genes and it is very difficult to overcome. We have resistance to change because it destroys the current order of things. But by suffering through this resistance and taking a small leap of faith we can accomplish great things. Life will become deeper and more satisfying.

None of us know how long we will live in our current incarnation but we can certainly try to give a good example. We can do something small and energizing for the others to experience. Our example is far more important than our words. We human beings learn by example.

Practical matters will dominate the coming year and it will require focus to keep the momentum moving in your predetermined direction. When you come to an obstacle, just stay with it and resolve the issue at that moment. Don’t let things pile up. Create your own circumstances.

Finally you have gotten the project off the ground. You are headed down a new path that should prove satisfying as well as productive. You should congratulate yourself for making the effort that has taken many months to accomplish. Working a project through the beginning stages is very difficult and requires al lot of patience. Patience is the only virtue.

Start to tie up any looses ends and eliminate any debt that you may have incurred over the previous few years. It’s good to start fresh without any encumbrances. Take a break now that you have gotten the ball rolling. Put your feet up and enjoy completely this restful recline.

Jupiter goes direct this week so you will be getting some extra help with finances and some good luck in general. All that you have been striving for will get a boost. Remember that Jupiter’s nature is to expand so make sure that you don’t expand too quickly as this will have a negative effect on your circumstances.

I feel like Rip Van Winkle who woke up after 20 years. Suddenly, nothing seems familiar. It is as if a huge chunk of time has gone unaccounted for. This actually may be a good thing but it is too soon to tell. I suppose these kinds of gaps don’t happen all too often but they do show how the mind can give a fresh view of daily life. It shows how things that may have been of great import previously have no gravitas at all in the present.

Moving on, we experience a burst of freedom that seems too good to be true. We are not obligated and no one is obligated to us. Things just keep getting better and better. And there could not be a better time to experience this than over the holidays. It’s a little bit like trying to skip Christmas. Hope this is not too Bah Humbug for you.

Things seem to be spiralling out of control, at least for the moment. This week demands that you spend a lot of time managing your impulses. This is a tiresome yet necessary chore. You feel yourself slipping into disarray. This happens when you have too much to do and not enough time. There is always plenty of time. Create some space for yourself to operate in a less stressful way. Release yourself from your own form of bondage. It’s the holidays! Celebrate!

Take a counter intuitive moment to examine the situation before heading off in a direction. Intuition is not always a good compass. Sometimes we have to examine the underlying facts that lead us to our conclusions. We can be dead wrong. Sometimes our instincts lead us in the wrong direction.

Safety is a very circumspect term. What is safe may also be unsafe. Many people gravitate toward astrology for the purpose of safety. But sometimes seeking that safety net takes us out on a limb. That is why it is important to understand the laws of nature, that is, as much as it is humanly possible. The laws of nature reveal themselves as we make a concerted effort to navigate the sea of life.

Never assume. Your way of thinking has taken you to some conclusions which simply don’t apply in the universe. Broaden your spectrum to include seeing what is missing as well as what is there. Synthesize rather than analyze. You have to put the whole picture together. Things start to take on a whole new perspective. People change when you change.

People are getting back in touch with you. Suddenly, you are hearing from people you haven’t heard from in years. They must be coalescing around something but what could it be. Is there a plan at work that you aren’t consciously aware of? People usually come together for some joint purpose. You find that in all areas of life. We are really herd animals and we follow the conventional wisdom of our times.

Approaching winter time, the days are getting shorter. This affects our internal clock and a period of adjustment is necessary. You may be feeling a little out of sync. The adjustment will come and you will be feeling more like yourself. Once this surge of energy hits, you’ll be ready for the holidays. Plenty of energy will be required for the remainder of this month. Don’t burn the candle at both ends.

Many planets are now occupying Earth & Fire signs. This gives a kind of steam roller effect. Try not to steam roll over your friends and family or anyone else for that matter. Think before speaking. Ask others what they would like to do or ask how they are feeling before going into your own diatribe.
