Pride Cometh Before A Fall

This week has an interesting dynamic as there are 3 planets on Sunday at 12:00 noon that are at 29 degrees. The 29th degree of the sign is considered to be “not polarized enough”. It is neither masculine nor feminine. The Moon is at 29 degrees of Virgo, Venus is at 29 degrees of Scorpio and Pluto is at 29 degrees of Sagittarius. This would seem to be indicative of some archetypal images emerging from the unconscious that have to do with our concept of love. It would reveal the underground workings that influence how we make our choices of partnerships. In other words, it reflects our secrets.

The Sun and Saturn are in exact trine in earth signs so we can count on cooperation from significant sources of authority to help us attain our monetary goals. Although the general always to some degree will limit the particular, we have the power to direct these influences to a positive end.

Overall, the elements of water and earth are dominant during the week so this results in balance. We moderate our reactions so that we don’t alienate others. Contribute to the enjoyment of others by listening as well as talking. There is much camaraderie in allowing others to express their opinion although it may differ from your own.

Do be aware of the occasional lightning bolt that may come your way. Be at the right place at the right time.

I Can See Clearly Now

The Sun, Jupiter and Mercury are conjunct in the sign of Capricorn. Suddenly, we find ourselves developing an ambitious approach to achieving our goals. We have a clear image and we must bring these things to life. Our plans need to be solidified. We must have some tangible evidence of our work.

Saturn is square the Moon and this tends to keep our emotions in check. We don’t want to commit to a direction until we are sure that we can succeed. Sometimes we just have to make a leap of faith. We have to believe in ourselves and move ahead without really being able to see the end result. We can certainly speculate as to what the end result will be but at some point we have to take a chance.

Neptune is square to Venus so our imagination is taking us to magical and creative places but we are fearful of going too far into this mystery as we may not be able to keep our senses.

Mars is retrograde leaving us with few outlets for our energy. There is a build up of emotions and ideas and beliefs. This may be a good time to examine our motives carefully so that we can better direct these energies toward a constructive goal.
Many forces are opposing these energies so it is best to be patient and let ourselves be guided by subtle influences.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall

The stellium in Sagittarius – Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto – is a fiery hot configuration. Expect some fireworks nationally and internationally. The pot is finally coming to a boil and hopefully you have been watching carefully. Many alliances come under careful scrutiny during the week. It appears that the powers that be are really more alert than we previously thought. They’ll need to be vigilant in order to keep the peace and make good political decisions.

The Moon conjunct Uranus in Pisces throws a wet towel on some theories that have been bantered around the office cooler. Circumstances fly in the face of commonly accepted rumors and gossip. There are some disturbing revelations for those who haven’t been objective. On the other hand, objectivity got a lot of people into a lot of trouble.

Factor flexibility into your future plans. Things may not occur at the exact moment that you anticipate. Always leave yourself and others some wiggle room. There is a solution to every situation. Be creative and deliver truth through your own example.

This week brings opportunities to the enthusiastic and able. Put your best foot forward and show your charming side as someone may be watching. A feeling of restlessness prevails but you are about to break out of the doldrums.

Under Siege

The week begins with the Sun and Moon in the sign of Sagittarius (A New Moon). This represents a kind of coming together of forces, a union. The new moon is mediated by Mercury in Sagittarius and this gives us a method of balancing our unconscious with our conscious. When we are relaxed, we allow these unknown influences to rise to the surface where we can work with them. There are five planets currently in the sign of Sagittarius and this is beneficial from many points of view. They allow us to travel and see new vistas with new eyes.

Uranus in Pisces is squaring the moon in Sagittarius so you can expect some twists and turns in the road ahead. Don’t get too comfortable with any one point of view then it may be necessary to change directions at the drop of a hat. With all those planets in Sagittarius we need to remind ourselves to be considerate of other’s feelings as it is easy to blurt out some truth that ends up torpedoing an otherwise satisfactory relationship.

Saturn in Virgo is in sextile aspect to Mars in Cancer. Mars is retrograde so it’s energy is being drawn inward. Saturn is keeping all this energy from being disbursed. Be careful not to let it build up in a way that adversely affects your health. Keep a disciplined approach and focus your energies on areas that will bring future benefits. This is an exceptional period of optimism with positive outcomes coming about expeditiously.

Below the Belt

This week keeps you occupied with practical matters. The holidays are coming and there are plenty of things that must be done. The Moon is in Virgo today and this sets the tone for the week. Virgo is a very helpful sign connected with the Sixth House of the archetype. This is the house of service, service to mankind so be kind to your fellow man. It is also the house of sickness. Maybe we have to fulfill this obligation to others and by doing so we insure our own good health.

Jupiter and Pluto are in Sagittarius and according to some reliable sources, this indicates a payday of some sort. Perhaps it is a bonus or something that you have earned and it is going to find it’s way to you. Be careful of what you wish for, you may actually get it. And also remember, no good deed goes unpunished. If we know what we want and have a plan for getting it, this is the best. To be lucky isn’t always lucky.

Everything looks pastoral at the moment. Enjoy this time of peace and harmony. People are complicated but why not just take them at face value. Play life as a comedy and not a tragedy. Be in control of yourself as this is a true power. Some of the most rich and accomplished people do not have control over themselves. If you can achieve self control, you’ll be way ahead of the game.

If You Just Believe

Ever wake up in the morning and wonder who dealt this mess. This could be a common thread in the week to come. It seems that people and situations just get wackier and wackier. How so many people can have the same reaction to what is going on personally and globally is difficult to comprehend. Of course, how we experience these planetary influences has to do with our rising sign. Planets influence us the way that we receive the planetary influences. Our rising sign is our receiver.

The Sun has just entered the sign of Sagittarius so we feel adventurous. This is excellent as it will lead to developing some original ways of handling some aggravating situations. Remember to use diplomacy although my urge is to speak out strongly…this could have some negative ramifications. It’s time to broaden your experiences and get on with some new activities that will put you in contact with a fresh new group of acquaintances.

Pluto conjunct Jupiter in Sagittarius unleashes some deep seated emotions and gives a needed boost to energize us toward freedom of action. Use this aspect to it’s fullest as it won’t be long until the Sun squares Saturn in Virgo and you will have to return to a disciplined and detail oriented agenda. Enjoy the holiday spirit!

Money Makes the World Go Round

With the Sun in Scorpio we see the hidden side of different situations. We see the underbelly. This can be an eye opener for many as we assume that mankind is well meaning. However, our instincts are another side of us that are not thoroughly examined. Since our motives are not only conscious but unconscious it makes anticipating the next move very difficult. You need to be a good chess player, you have to look deeply into the game. You have to see maybe twenty moves ahead with all the possible counter moves. Since this is almost impossible for most people, we have to trust our own moves. It is possible to find this center where we have peace of mind. We can be guided by our conscience which is probably connected with higher influences.

The Moon is Pisces makes us feel compassionate. We want to understand others. We want to put our feet into the other’s shoes. It is this attempt that causes us to suffer. When we know others, we will also know ourselves. This causes us to be obligated to the longer course of action. We realize the need to integrate time and space. Time and space solve all problems.

Mars is retrograde in the sign of Cancer. This will result in reviewing some of our family relationships and what exactly these feelings of good or ill will are predicated upon. Since the sign of Cancer is the natural ruler of the home and Mars is in fall in this sign, we find that if we haven’t spent some time thinking about these relationships they can be a source of unhappiness and distress. Determine whether or not your actions and reactions are appropriate and moderate.

Quick Change Artist

This week starts out with lights flickering, electrical devices malfunctioning, computer connection conflicts and who knows what else. What is responsible for these glitches are anybody’s guess. But judging from the planets this week it is going to be a high wire act for most of us. Perhaps Mars trine Uranus is the culprit. Uranus is retrograde in Pisces while Mars is about to go retrograde in Cancer. Then within a week Uranus goes direct. It seems that this crisscrossing effect may be the source.

The Moon which is the back drop for the week begins this week in Sagittarius. Sagittarius doesn’t have particularly good instincts and is impetuous. This could be a deadly combination politically so watch what you say. Don’t make any rash judgments about the motives of others as you could be seriously mistaken.

Jupiter and Pluto are in an approaching conjunction. This should bring some benefit to you in whatever area of your natal chart the sign Sagittarius falls. Perhaps some unknown source of income or money you left behind finds its way back to you. Saturn in Virgo reminds us to be resourceful in our daily expenditures. Low overhead can be the key to financial success.

Big Oaks from Little Acorns Grow

This week begins with 4 planets in the sign of Virgo. Virgo is a feminine, mutable, earth sign. Sun and Moon in Virgo show the versatility and hard work that go into accomplishment. Saturn in Virgo puts emphasis on the day to day efforts that eventually lead to success while Venus in Virgo gives lightness to the effort. All things start with just one step.

Uranus in Pisces opposes the Sun and Moon in Virgo so expectations may be met with better than anticipated results. This shows that moving in a direction can be beneficial even when we don’t know exactly what we are aiming for. Things come to us just through taking action. Virgo is a reactive sign and this shows that stimulus pushes us in a direction. Virgo is mutable, therefore pendulum like. It swings back and forth toward a goal.

Jupiter and Pluto are in the sign Sagittarius and this give dimension to philosophical beliefs. The love of wisdom is pronounced at this time. Mercury trine Neptune adds to the images generated by the unconscious. Use these images to broaden you understanding of higher influences.

Dreams Really Do Come True

The Sun in Scorpio lends itself to secrecy and the knowing of things unknown. This sign has the uncanny ability to sense your inner most secrets. Scorpio is great at keeping other people’s private life to themselves. They won’t advertise your personal information but they may use it to their advantage and that is what gives Scorpio such a controversial reputation. The Moon in Gemini makes for lively conversation and intellectual sparring. This is something that Scorpios find tedious and unpleasant.

In the coming weeks the planets are in the fall and winter signs. This is a time for serious contemplation of your most intimate thoughts and feelings. Venus in Virgo is square to Jupiter in Sagittarius. This represents the greater fortune competing with the lesser fortune or the big self in conflict with the little self. The little self represents the personality and our desires and the big self our connection with higher influences.
Don’t neglect either one. They can both be satisfied.

Mars trine Uranus relieves a lot of built up pressure that has been increasing over the past weeks. Little by little you can blow off steam thereby warding off any big explosion of temper. The Sun trine Mars reminds us that our status often depends on our ability to control the devil within. Our ego dictates that we indulge activities that deliver us to our goals. Unexpected good results come from following our dreams. Don’t be too willing to compromise as what you want is within your reach. Make sure you have the right dream.
