Pressure is being applied from every direction but in the end this all works in your favor. Try to withstand the constant push and pull of the coming week with as much grace and dignity as you can. Soon, the situation will fall away leaving no residual fragments and leaving you with a lot more confidence.
It is always uncomfortable getting stuck in someone else’s power play. If you stay neutral, you improve your chances of being seen as a wise man/woman. Don’t get sucked in to the minutia of the daily grind. There are plenty of other big picture items that need your attention.
Level the playing field and let others know that you are not going to be pushed around. If they’ve made a habit out of doing just that, it’s never too late to change the ground rules. You need to be emphatic. It’s easy to let the situation build up and become much more explosive. Don’t do more than your share or they will never do theirs.
Times are tough and it doesn’t always bring out the best in people. Try to show compassion but be sharp because your survival depends on it. Concentrate on efficiency. This will allow you to get substantially more done with less wear and tear.
Next week will be a lot easier. Weather the storm in a safe and protected place.
