Time is the Best Story Teller of All

This week you feel as if you are being swallowed up by anxiety. Try to interject positive thoughts instead of negative ones when these feelings arise. By seeing the universe as a friendly place where you can live peacefully and in harmony with others, you will start to feel freed from the daily grind. It’s easy to fall into a pit of self pity or worry, so try to do things that are uplifting. Do things that are physical even if you just take a long walk, it will help you feel enlivened.

Look around you and see not only the bad things but also the good things. We are always undergoing changes in ourselves, so no matter what is going on around us our attitude toward these things are always changing. You can use your own will to bend these feelings into a happier configuration.

External events don’t dictate everything, it is the way that we perceive them. We can use our feelings of uncertainty to build a more durable psychology. Pull yourself up from within and don’t count on others to do it for you. We are much happier when we can console ourselves.

Peaceful Transitions Ahead

The last few months have been like trying to look through pea soup. Unfortunately, this situation will hang on through the month of August but come September the fog will start to lift. This will result in relief and improvement as it will be much easier to plan ahead. The future will be more transparent than it has been. The Sun in Leo is in an approaching trine to Pluto so realization of expectations will be developing in the near future.

The stellium in Virgo continues to pressure us to take steps toward solving problems that have been pursuing us for some time. Neglect is no longer a possibility, action is required. Mercury and Venus will soon oppose Uranus so time is of the essence. Timely changes will put things back in order. Mars squaring Pluto adds to the urgency.

Water & earth dominate the landscape so it will be hard to get moving when speed is important. Give yourself a jolt by giving your body some much needed exercise. Sedentary activities will only add to anxiety. Get moving and take advantage of these compelling planetary influences. Take control of your own destiny.

We Get Old Too Soon & Smart Too Late

Try to find your center so that when you encounter inflexible types, you can navigate your way through the narrow passages without any direct confrontations. There is a stellium (4 planets or more) in Virgo. Virgo is very hard working and practical to a fault. This is challenging to you because all you want to do is relax and enjoy yourself. Suddenly there are many things that require your immediate attention. Discipline will keep you moving toward completion of these obligations.

Uranus in Pisces opposes Mars in Virgo, and this opposition stirs up feelings of insecurity. Steer your way toward your goal and you will ease these tensions. If you don’t have a goal, develop one and stick to it until it is achieved. The Sun opposes Neptune and this leads to fuzzy thinking. Clarify what it is that you are trying to do. Others will help you when you are clear about your intent.

Overall, the week looks like one filled with interesting twists and turns. Be prepared for the adventure and keep your reactions moderate. If you don’t overreact, you may be surprised at the insight that you get. Understanding your own motivations helps you to understand others.

A Little Too Much Information

There seems to be an awful lot of projection going on out there. It seems that everyone has an axe to grind but some how none of it seems to have anything to do with you. It’s like they are looking in a mirror. We can all stand to gain from assessing that image that we see in the mirror. A good close look renders insights into our own self absorption. Analyze these insights for the purpose of adjusting your own perceptions. This will give you a new and more optimistic persona.

The Moon is conjunct Saturn so you may feel like the tin man. You feel like your wheels could use some grease. Saturn is responsible for the retention of toxics in the body. Make sure to drink plenty of water and try to tune in and listen to what your body is telling you. Don’t dwell on problems that have no immediate solution. Start doing what you can to change the present.

Life is a little like investing in the future. When it comes to your health you have to take care of it in the present. By doing this, you insure good health in the future. Of course good health comes from body and mind so it is important to achieve balance. Don’t go to extremes, neither too much nor too little. Keep up appearances…someone is watching.

Fly Like An Eagle

This will be a week of self examination. With the Sun in Leo conjunct Mercury in Leo there is a tendency to be completely self-contained. All energy is focalized and forced outward away from the center. When this dynamic takes place we become a powerful source of light. Like a beacon that can be seen from afar. That is why when we develop spiritual qualities others learn by our example. When our example is rooted in material goals others are not clear as to what we are trying to communicate.

Hard work will be rewarded in the near future. Although we must be careful when we think that we “deserve” something. Better we should ask, “can we afford it”? When it comes to the ego and it’s reinforcement we are better off not falling into that trap. This can be costly and result in miscalculations that cause us to have set backs. What truly belongs to you, no one can take away.

Creativity makes life so much more interesting and enjoyable. Take life up a notch and enjoy the finer and lighter aspects of the human condition. We spend so much time thinking about practical matters that things become dull. Try stimulating your imagination with relaxation and meditation. There is a solution to every problem and that solution is far more likely to occur to you if you don’t try to force it.

By the Light of the Moon

The week begins with the Moon in Aquarius which starts the wheels of the mind turning. Aquarius is very much connected with the future and is very forward thinking. The moon is exactly conjunct Neptune and this combination increases the fantasy or lack of reality connected with the thinking. Everything seems to be engulfed in a fog, like a ship at sea you can’t see the shoreline and you feel disoriented. This will clear up quickly and you will regain your sense of security as Mercury is a fast moving planet and this aspect is temporary.

Mercury and Neptune are opposed by Jupiter so it is best to err on the side of caution as you will not be easily forgiven any serious offenses. Also, don’t be too harsh a critic of the others until you understand their situation more fully and even then try to show some compassion. We are all only human and so let’s not have expectations that are unrealistic. “To err is human, to forgive divine.”

This week may seem a little monotonous so try to use your time to complete unfinished projects. Make sure you follow up on any correspondence that you have made. People will treat you seriously if you follow through. Organize your week so that when the pace picks up you won’t feel stressed.

Don’t Dig Half Way

This week will be filled with emotion and with the Sun in Cancer we tend to focus on matters at home. The Moon in Scorpio leads us to introspection and a little brooding. Scorpio and Cancer are emotional signs and descend to the depths of the human psyche. Scorpio digs the deepest while Cancer takes its lessons from the past.
Overall, the times are difficult and tedious and will require a great deal of fearlessness and patience to find solutions to problems that have been under the surface for many years.

The conjunction of Saturn and Mars in Virgo cause a stop and go environment. Just when you think you are gaining momentum an obstacle slows down the process. This back and forth energy will be tiring but is temporary. Take extra good care of your health as the many things that are going on are draining. Stay focused on your own goals and let the others worry about theirs.

Try to relax and stop the constant thinking that can lead only to depression and self recrimination. Let go of any negative thoughts and accept yourself completely, both the good and bad. Don’t look at life as a test but rather as a quest. There is a solution to every problem.

Happy Days Are Here Again

The weeks just fly by and it seems that the landscape of things changes ever so slightly. I suppose that it is really the day to day activities that determine our ultimate happiness. If we can’t be happy in the day, how can we be happy in a whole lifetime. The last two weeks have been complicated by outside influences that have taken their toll. However, we can look at life from any perspective and sometimes we just have to take a moment to be thankful for the things that we do have. How we take life is what determines our attitude and potential for happiness.

The summer is a laborious time of the year when we have to tend the crops that we have planted. However, soon we will be able to harvest those crops and this is the benefit we receive for the hard work. The coming months will emphasize just these things. The daily grind will continue almost relentlessly. These are the little things that continue to build our character and remind us that we are flexible and resilient.

Fast forward to the Fall which will bring the many longed for rewards of our very tough summer. Patience is the only virtue. Be optimistic rather than pessimistic as you pay the same price. Stay youthful by looking forward to the future and the unknown secrets that life will reveal.

Born To Be Wild

Do try hard to pull yourself out of that state of self flagellation. This really doesn’t serve your purpose. You have one friend and one enemy and that is you. It’s easy to reproach yourself about “should of”, “could of” and “if only” but it won’t help you move ahead to a happier and freer state of mind. Accept yourself completely and move on.

The week promises more surprises on the public scene. Keep your eyes open for opportunities that may suddenly appear. Spontaneity is well prepared. No one will be interested in your list of excuses. Say “yes” to offers that are appealing. Old friends emerge during the next month so try to be congenial even if your schedule seems rather tight and inflexible.

You will feel strong and energetic physically, but be careful as you may be more fragile than you think. Don’t oversubscribe to social events and make sure that you arrange some personal time for relaxation. Many people are very tense and could become antagonistic if they feel that you are not hearing them. Even if you are hearing them you don’t have to reinforce their anxieties. Steer clear of them until they develop a calmer and more confident attitude.

Fearless and Fancy Free

The Sun just moved into the sign of Cancer so hang on as this is going to be an electrifying and highly charged week. The Moon in Aquarius trine Mercury in Gemini does give some needed perspective to the all or nothing attitude that will prevail. Mars opposing Neptune shows a strong resistance to organization and methodology. Just about anything goes. People just want to serve their own purpose. This is not always possible as there are very real consequences for not following the laws of nature.

When the unexpected occurs, there seems to be great surprise but things will not go away just because you ignore them. A real effort to deal with problems is required. We want to deal because the Moon trine Mercury shows a need for the unconscious to come to the surface. When it does surface, we can make the appropriate changes and this will put our psychology onto a more directed path.

Efforts to expand start to take shape. What seemed impossible for years may now show promise of fulfillment. Of course, we have to do the work but this will be well worth the time. Mars trine Pluto (Pluto is now retrograde and has moved back into Sagittarius for the next several months) gives us the added power drive that we need to get to the finish line. This will get us ready for the next new beginning.
