There is a reason that we are told “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. It is very difficult to see the others as they truly are. To some degree, they are a reflection of our self. In order to see them clearly, we would have to know ourselves well. We would have to be able to differentiate between the “I” and the “not I”. In a general way, we are a polarity. In astrology, we learn from the opposite sign. In the archetype, the first house represents you and is opposed by the seventh house. The seventh house represents others.
Having all the tools of the astrology trade doesn’t make judgment all that easy. You have to clear your own unconscious before you can be clear about the future. You have to dust away the cobwebs of your past and dispose of your ego. This is something that we are all working toward no matter what profession we are pursuing. We are looking for clarity of mind.
Countless opportunities are squandered due to lack of patience. Patience is the only virtue. You must develop patience to capture the full effect of your desires. You need patience to accomplish your goals and you need it to soften your personality.
We all have friends and we all have enemies and that is in the nature of things. If a man has no
enemies, he has no friends. Judgment is highly difficult. Each of us has a destiny and a calling that is tailored to the unique qualifications that we have gathered in our journey of life. Human
beings can only make judgments based on their experiences and this often doesn’t reflect the big picture.
